The institute is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi Technical University, Bhopal and all programs are approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi & Govt. of Madhya Pradesh.

Eligibility

Norms for admission:

	Those who fulfill the domicile requirements per the norms, eligible to apply for free seats.
	Admission to payment seats shall be made on all India basis and shall not be restricted to Madyha Pradesh only.
	There shall be no special reservation for any category of students in free or payment seats at the institute level.
	In case some seats in payment category remains vacant, candidates having 50% or more marks in the aggregate of PCM (12th Class) will be given admission.
	Direct admission in BE second year in all branches for diploma holders are available as per Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) norms.
	Admission rules are subjected to change by the authorities.

The candidates must clear Pre-Engineering Test (PET), conducted by Professional Examination Board, M.P.

The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), M.P. , carries out counseling for admission to free and payment seat to the engineering colleges of M.P. A press note, with all details of counseling program and ranking for purpose of admission is issued by the director of technical education in all leading newspapers. Admission to the institute is carried out as per the rules laid down by the Govt. of Madhya Pradesh.
